David/Troubledshooter has some pics of original cases on his website.

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.

If it's a leather and canvas Webley case, then it's pre war. The later black 'Rexine' covered cases are post war.
Either type case on it's own, if in good condition, is currently worth around £450, but they are very rarely offered for sale.
I would estimate the pistol and case, dependent on the pistol's condition, to be worth around £600.
If it also contains an original oil can and a tin of pellets, who knows.

That was just the hammer price, the gun looked ok prewar slant grip, no oil can or pellets with it.

So we are talking of an inclusive price around the £660 mark.
Even with the Senior being an 'OK pre war' model, that's still a little more than I would have expected, but just shows how the older Webley items are appreciating in value quite nicely.

Also at the same sale was a nice Webley Mk1 pistol, in its own box in good condition but with a rust mark line across the front, and with box of origial pellets hammer price £320 l think went to a internet bidder
The surprise was a Webley Service 3rd series in what l call average conditon, with a canvas slip case hammer price £450
You can buy cheaper from arms fairs

There are some very well made canvas and leather cases around with reproduction Webley labels. I saw one recently and it was not described as reproduction in the auction catalogue and I have certainly seen a lot more repro cases than real ones. If you are not sure get expert advice before forking out £450.
