    Chargemaster or Lyman?

I am possibly going to the US next year and plan on bringing either a chargemaster or Lyman automatic reloading set up back. I've used the chargemaster before and was very impressed with it but I'm seeking people's opinions of which they think is better? Many thanks,

I'm biased, I've got the Chargemaster; never tried any of the others but very happy with my decision to go for the Chargemaster; it suits me fine.

ive got the hornady, it does what it says on the packet so to speak. its cheaper then the rcbs one, and i am betting they all use the same scales, as there all advertised to being with in .1 accurate...
what about the fact it will be geared for there 110v not our 240v i would just buy from opticware house there cheap enough, and you can send back if anything goes wrong....

I would have chargemater. You dont seam to hear of as many things going wrong on them.
And Rcbs have top service, I see a guy on a different forum. Who had problem with his.

He rang Rcbs they said they would send him a new one in the post. And just dispose of the old unit

+1 for the Chargemaster. I've had nothing but good things to say about mine.

I have tried the RCBS and owned the Lyman DPS1200III.

I now have the Targetmaster IMHO better than both.

Step down tranformer, I use one on my kitchen aid mixer that I bought over there four years ago. Seems to be that the chargemaster is winning at the moment.

And another Chargemaster fan - but I would recommend you to buy the (cheap) Lyman reloading pan to load straight from scales to case. Saves fiddling with separate funnels?

Info here http://www.midwayuk.com/epages/Midwa...roducts/118739 but also available elsewhere.
