    Scope for BSA lightning

    Any advice on what scope not much of a budget £40 I will be using it for close range pest control and buying second hand

    You should get a decent 3-9X40 for your money - look out for Tasco, Simmons or Bushnell at that price

    Make sure it is springer rated before you buy, as the Lightning recoils a fair bit more than most springers, and it will be a waste of money if it is just shaken around and broken internally within a few hundred shots.

    On mine I have a Webley Silver 3-9x40, which I do have a few large problems with regards to focus and zoom.
