Ive had a chance to think about a new alloy loading port recently Well, Ive had plenty of time to think (and its a habit I may get into. )
The bore size of the loading post will have to be critical. To large and the pellet will fall through like it presently does with many of the standard plastic ports. To small and it may act as a sizer and the pellets diameter could be smaller than the barrels bore.
    Just my thoughts.

Hi there, Get a few prototypes made with slightly different bore sizes, then produce the one that is nearest, bearing in mind that different pellet types have different thickness of skirts, the pressure of air will expand the thin skirt better giving a tighter seal in the bore, it will probably involve quite a bit of trial and error but it will be worth it in the end Good luck John

They wanted to remove all my badness! There wouldn't have been enough of me left to pull the trigger.

Or just hold the pistol level as you put your pellet in.
