Tokarev: has anyone else seen this delight?

I found this yesterday at rusmilitary.com.

Unfortunately the price seems rather steep at £215.00.

    Crosman Tokarev

I bought one off bbs a few months ago for £95. This is a very well made pistol and one of the most accurate bb guns I have shot. A very realistic copy of the TT 33 in full metal, with a very well designed magzine also all metal. Very easy to load mag.You can get these from Poland for £90.
Do not understand why they are not bringing them in to UK.

    Regards, Baz

    Interesting.

I googled Gletcher Tokarev just now and came up with this:

    http://www.airgunforum.ca/forums/topic47561.html

I wonder what is going on? Is it the same pistol marketed by Crosman and Gletcher, or are they 2 different guns?

The Crosman doesnt blowback so may be different guns.
Even if the Gletcher does £215 is v. expensive.

A couple of interesting air pistols there

Gletcher also seem to make a .177 S&W style snubby too

Especially when you can buy a Tanfoglio Witness 1911 for under half that price.

Might be a better build, though. Is it made of steel or pot metal?

Magazine will certainly be a lot cheaper

I wonder how long before they become available in UK and at what price?
They should be about the same as a Dan Wesson, but no doubt they'll be priced higher

Having done my own DW pellet conversion, I shall be interested to see how they've modified the shells.

Agreed. The holster looks like that of the Mauser C96.

If only some nice manufacturer would make a CO2 BB firing Mauser C96.

Umarex make one, I believe Solware can get hold of them.

Not sure what they are like though, for me most Umarex guns never deliver as much as I had hoped (But I am an awkward git).

I thought the Solware one was 6mm gas, rather than CO2

Maybe it is, it is into airgun power levels though so is doesn't have to be bright orange and isn't classed as a RIF.

I Found the gletcher for $126 in the states!

    Also found a review http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tr......e_gdata_player[/quote]

Interestingly also found a comparesen between the Gletcher and the Baikal TT which we can't import. The Gletcher has higher mps and seems more accurate (in Russian but but interesting)
