    Rochford agc open results!

A very wet start to the day on sunday for our course setters, it took quite a few attempts to get the course set up as it rained so hard they all got soaked and had to take cover until it eased up. Eventually they managed to set a 20 target course and quite a few members braved the weather.

As Tony couldn't make this shoot due to his back problems, I would like to thank all the members that got up and down the club extra early to help Ryan set everything up. It is very much appreciated by me and Tony, we know it can be hard going sometimes.

Anyway, the open comp still went ahead as a 20 target course and still counts towards your overall score.

Heres the results of the day.

    Ron Whitney 40
    Harry Kalaydjian 40
    R Watson 39
    John Munns 39
    David J Cook 38

    Steve Burton 38
    Karen Yates 37

Next shoot is on the 29th july as we have had to move yet another shoot to accomodate the postponed car show.

Great little course as always even if it was only 20 targets,

Big thanks to the course setters who were soaked throughout for setting up and allowing the few that turned up to have a bit of fun,

It was great rolling around in the mud but i do hope we get a bit more sun very soon,

See you all on the 29th for what i believe is the Springer comp.

    Atb Harry.

Aaaaah! Ain't it sad Tony is laid up at the moment. Still, he can carry on stitching the kinky leather gear as his hands ain't crook. From what Karen said he ain't no good for anything else either, at the moment. Serves you right Karen for jumping on him from the wardrobe. You sure he didn't slide down the banister and give himself a wooden enema?

Wet wer'nt the word for it! We had to dry out after six targets. Got it done eventually but it took ages to get the divers gear off. Nice feel though, all that rubber, smooth, slippery, clinging ..............!!!!

    I'll get me coat!
