    hw80 calibre change

    Hello,

    I wish to change my .22 80 to a .177 calibre.
Would it be advisable to change the shims at the same time when fitting the new barrel?

Also, is there anything else i should do to ensure that everything works out ok? (apart from get someone else to do it!).

I have been advised that the .177 barrel will be better at 12", what would be the rough estimate on getting this done?.

    So many questions!

    Mike.

NO need to change the shims unless worn or damaged during removal (unlikely).

Barrel shortening - just hacksaw it off and recrown it yourself

Job is a piece of pi55, have fun
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
