How did you so cleverly work out the top 5 scores?........good job you identified them so clearly!

I wonder what the total will be?........but at least with only 10 shooters this time the formulae to calculate the average won't be too taxing.

RMTC win the number of MPL shooters this month for the first time ever.

There is some good shooting from the Rivvy team this month - Pauls score with a Centre is excellent and so is Steve's with his Pardini - but for me the outstanding result is John with his HW45 again - and Les also did a good job with his HW45. How on earth can you get those wayward monsters to group at 10 meters like that?....you got us beat - easilly - we just can't get the 3 that we have to hit the proverbial barn door - good effort by both of you- well done!

Well done to all of you infact - good show - lets hope you get your numbers back up for Round 4.

I know - that's why we are so pleased to have you with us at RMTC - (and you never know when the "care" practice we get will come in handy!)

.now lets have another go with operating a pellet box successfully next week shall we? - just a few more weeks and we should get the lid open with the pellets still inside.

Well done RMTC - three wins out of three, and thanks to everyone that took part - especially the newcomers and the not so experienced pistol shots as these people are very important to us in both clubs and we hope we can encourage you to keep shooting air pistol at 10 meters in the future.

Thumbs up MPL Round 3 Results

Sorry - this post had been duplicated by mistake - but since I am here now (again) I am very pleased to see the MPL continuing to provide a new interest in the sport and hope it will encourage more new shooters to "have a go" next time.

We do enjoy "crowing" about about the win, and the inevitable "banter" that will follow - but to be totally honest I have to say the real winner is the sport and the two clubs that are taking part and to me at least, win or loose, the result is not as important as taking part.(although it is better to win!).

I am now choosing another MPL legal pistol that I have not shot before in the MPL for Round 4 to try and make sure I never shoot the same pistols twice if possible, so there is no chance of getting familiar with any one pistol type - all part of the fun!

This time sunshine .... this time but were catching you up.

At the rate your entries are diminishing you will be lucky to have 5 shooters left in a couple of months. I think its time you brought your, err, personal charm and persuasive manners (threats )to the clubs pistol shooters and get them to join in the MPL.

Probably somebody that we don't see very often - it's so hard to remember names- don't you think?

We have Geoff Radovic - looks like a typo to me!

    Thinking ahead.

May I suggest that the December round of the M.P.L. be extend from the usual last week in the month to the last fortnight due to the seasonal closures. Even some of Rivis members celebrate Christmas.

May I suggest we start shooting the rounds from Tues 18th Dec until Mon 31st otherwise the holiday closures will mean Rivi may win one of the rounds.

Thank you for your hearty congratulations.

I think we beat Rivvy in Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3, but you do have some good top shots that we have let you keep for the time being since you are clearly struggling to keep up. When we repatriate the Rossendale born/residents etc this could make a difference to the Elite League as well!

We also had more shooters than Rivvy in Round 3 - surprising really when your club is at least 5 times bigger than ours!

Ah well, I guess the cream will always rise to the top!

We don't want that to happen now do we?

Your idea is good - and even better since you explained about the possibility of loosing by default!
