Umarex Mags

Ive got several Umarex Mags for CP99 etc with dots on top, some have 4 some have 3 and so on, probably a daft question but does any one know why this is?

Almost certainly refers to the moulding tool cavity in which they were cast.........if there are any problems with any mags they just look at the dots and immediately know which cavity on the moulding tool is at fault!!!!!!

Just uploaded it too, still, glad you worked it out.

It looks to me as if someone may have put those marks on with a centre-punch as identifiers.

I have come across quite a few of these marked magazines over the years and always wondered the relevance of these markings (i must have too much time on my hands.!)

I have seven of those mags for my CP99, and I've never noticed those markings! I must check mine to see if they have them.
