Hi Guys
I need to make up some plinking rounds for tomorrow, and only have some 135 cast bullets and #5 available.
I can't find any load data specific to these components. The accurate website shows 9.1gn for 140gn jacketed bullets, and 9.6 for 125gn jacketed. I was thinking a safe start load might be 9.5gn.
Can anybody suggest a better load?
Cheers,

See if you can find a 38spl load and put that in your 357 case, they make good plinkers for 25 -50m,and will keep you well below limit,
Dont use 9.1gr with it will be too hot for lead load. Try this from the lee book 5.5gr start max 6.4 this is 38 spe load will
work fine this 140gr fmj but will be under 1000fps.
"Trust me- I know what I'm doing!"
Thanks guys.![]()

Ended up going with 6gn's, and they are shooting well, although a little higher than my usual 158gn bullet/8.7gn powder load.
