I have just bought three of these from Belt Mountain, one for self, one on hold for another BBS member, so just one set for sale at the moment. It consists of a Belt Mountain Custom Ruger Old Army base pin with the new No.5 hour glass shaped end and a sprung loaded latch pin. The base pin just replaces the Ruger one and the custom latch screws (Allen Key Provided) into the rammer locating hole in the frame. No more messing about with screwdrivers to remove the cylinder for loading, with this the cylinder comes out and goes back in seconds. The latch can be fitted in two minutes by anyone so don't worry about that. On my gun the B.M. base pin is a better fit than the ruger one and has removed some of the slop in the cylinder, they also look great and create some puzzled looks on the range from ROA shooters (see my gun in picture below). Midway were selling the older style BM base pin on it's own for £44.85. I am selling one BM base pin and one BM Latch for £60 posted. I may have one more set for sale as I seem to have lost contact with the BBS member who said he would have a set so there is a possibility that I may put it up for sale in a few days. Please answer on this thread followed by a PM to avoid awkward situations. Pictures below showing the units and also one of them fitted to my gun.
