Morini 162E - oring replacement kit

    Hi,

I am new in this forum and new to target pistol shooting. However not new to airgunning. I owned few springers and two pcp rifles. Even more than shooting I love airgun tuning and repair.

Recently I upgraded from FWB90 to Morini 162E.I had an opportunity to buy second hand Skanaker Edition (silver coloured with Ragnar Skanaker signature). Pistol looks like it was used with not too much attention (scratches on tank) but is in overall good condition. It has not been shoot much it seems - grip and parts do not look used much.

Now I have a small issue I would like you to help me on. I need to replace o-rings. I want to do a full stip down and o-ring replacement as the old ones got unelastic and brittle. I noticed seeing air escaping the tank.

I was looking for list of o-rings needed. I found below article in archive of airgunbbs:

    http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....-Pistol-Spares

Where you can find specs of almost all orings needed to accomplish my task.

    Morini CM 162E O-Ring Sizes
    162020A MORINI 0-RING 8 X 1.5mm (Filler Seal Green Viton 1Off)
    162007A MORINI O-RING 12 x 1.5mm (Air Cylinder Body to Gun 1Off)
    162008A MORINI O-RING 23 x 1.5mm (Air Cylinder Seals 2off)
    162027A MORINI O-RING 3.5 x 1.2mm (Pellet Probe 1Off)
    162020B MORINI O-RING 3.8 x 1.2mm (Internal Fill Valve Seal)
    162052A MORINI O-RING 5.5 x 1.5mm (Firing Valve Seal 1off)
    162001A MORINI O-RING (Barrel Seal 2Off)
162010A MORINI O-RING (Air Cylinder Air Release Unit Green Viton 1Off)

    I need advice on following:
    1. Hardness of oring material required (70,80 or 90Shore?)
    2. Specification of last two o-rings on the list.

Maybe in the meantime someone managed to find out? Cones?

Thanks in advance. Any help appreciated.

BTW: I tried emailing Morini but no effect. When I called it appeared they are all in London. So maybe some of you chaps can ask Francesco Repich directly? He is coming back to Switzerland next week.

    Regards,
    Jaroslaw

I bought some 70 shore from www.altecweb.com for my Morini.

    Barrel seal is 9.00 X 1.5

I do not know the last one on the list.
Do you have the spanner to undo the regulator ? You can get one from Gedore (German company) size 30/32 mm pin size 4mm.
Let me know how you get on.

Thanks for first tips and missing oring size. Only one left then.

Can you give me more info on this Gedore tool needed? I wasnt aware it is required. I have not stripped the gun down yet.
EDIT: I see you were talking about hook wrench with pin. No problem, I have one.

I plan a photo story on a strip down.
