well let me add a bit more for you...

My S400 is a fantastic gun one of the best I have ever been able to own...

But the cylinder is starting to get rust spots and the rest of the bluing is not brill....

    And

I wouldn't mind it getting tuned...

but I want something different.. thats why is either going for one or the other..

GML= Normal bluing and very common
Hydro = My idea never been done will look different

If you come to sell the rifle ( you never know you just might ) the gml will make it 10 times more saleable, who wants a green gun?

What springs to mind for me is the effect on re-sale value. GML might well add some residual value any colour scheme other than camo (even camo doesn't seem to add value) is likely to limit your market, making the rifle harder to move on, possibly even devalueing it.

    Why bother?

£200 could be spent on a new rifle.

Forget about what it looks like, shoot it, become a better shot, have fun.

Guns are tools, tools that look good perform the same as the ones which dont.

Who cares if you have normal bluing or not?

Either M8, but make sure it changes the rifle from being 'fantasic' to 'fantastic' if I were you

(check out your typo in the sig. list of toys .)

of course if you didn't list your toys out
