    Henry Krank medium black powder

Is Henry Krank's medium grade black powder suitable for use in a black powder .44 revolver? Seems like quite a good buy.

    The fine would be better.

Used it for years before getting my mits on a load of TS2. Bit dirty sometimes but 20grns worked well in the .44 Rogers and Spencer. As said above, fine is better for revolver. Tim.

Would the medium powder be OK though? What would be the difference between medium and fine performance wise?

Well, the medium is really intended for large loads suitable for .58-ish rifled muskets and/or the .451 P-H rifles, and the fine for handgun use.

That's what I've been using FFG [medium] and FFG [fine] powders for over the last 40-something years. No doubt other will have a different experience.
