Meon Valley Sunday 12th

Although they didn't publicise it much, Meon Valley held an open comp at Hen Wood last Sunday so I wandered along to have a go. They've come up with a slightly different format in that you pay a tenner and get entry to the HFT, Gamble and pistol HFT comps. You don't have to do 'em all but can't win the aggregate trophy if you don't. The courses were testing without being silly (apart from the tiny rat on the pistol course) and it was good to catch up with some old friends. Only downside was the lack of burger van. They'll be doing the same format a couple of times next year so watch out for them.
