Went there on sunday and its a pretty good setup.
There were some light showers so it was nice to be under cover.

    Word of caution tho
One of targets is in front of a piece of wood to protect a tree...if you miss and pellet hits wood watchout for the rebound.
Also some of targets are counter balance type and fairly close. If you hit the top target it can send the pellet up into air and back at you.
I had a few come back and land on roof of shelter.

Other than that its a bostin set-up and i had it all to myself.

There is also a series of knock down targets on the range for the more adventurous.

As usual the undercover plinking range for rifle was busy.

    Would recommend it

I was up there a few weeks ago, when they were just finishing off the pulley system part. Not been able to get there since :snif:

    Photo's of it >> HERE <<

This will be in use for our Meet in October

I'd like to say thanks to the Greyhound for making this as it will help with our meets and hope it does get used from the club members

    Regards

hiya nige could you come and show us what "rebounds" you were getting as we want the range a zero incident area.
This is the first time "rebounds" have been reported since range opened and thousands of pellets fired.it would have been best reported sunday instead of us finding out on an open forum today fella?
    Regards bill

I mentioned it to a couple of people Bill But you were on the course at the time.
Commonn knowledge that wooden back stops are a no no...tho i understand from Terry its to protect a young tree which i can appreciate.
Move target two feet to right...problem solved

As i said before "its a bostin set-up" and its great that the Greyhound Club built it

The UBC will use it at their October and May meets, that's for sure.
