    bsa spitfire

What would be the current value of a BSA spitfire .25, gun only. It is in excellent condition, only one small dent in the stock and the blueing is unmarked. It comes complete with buddy bottle and fill adapter.

Seller wants £225 and I'm inclined to buy for that because its a nice example.

Any advice welcome, thanks in advance.

I have had a couple of these in .22 but found them to be a bit leaky , when they worked they were ok,
but I would not trust another one,

I had the SF .25 carbine ( standard fill buddy bottle type for 1 week !!!!!!!!!!!!! in which it leaked -- the moment they were available)

I swapped it for a .25 carbine HF (high fill) i.e divers bottle fill and still have it.

test it first... but the SF were replaced pdq by BSA for the HF model !

    spitfire .25

The rhino's are still the best for bsa .25 barrels & the quality is vastly improved on them too. just make sure they're new stock before buying.
