    88gram to 12gram co2 bottles

    Good evening,

What do you use to convert old 88 gram airsource bottles to 12gram?

I have a Benjamin as392 and have been looking at these two adaptors below but I'm not sure what will work.

    Many thanks for your help.

The Walther type is the best option as it can be removed from the rifle at any time without losing gas.

Thanks. I have had the best fittings type before on an xs79 and it leaked badly. They claim this version has now been revised. I would like the walther one with the x2 bulbs, but is the adaptor end compatible?

the single 12g adapter in the 16x1.5 88g thread works fine i find and i get them off evilbay or ally express and are exactly the same as the best fitting ones just not horrendusly marked up
the as392 like the king kat has two types of piercer (same part) the early has an o ring and the later has a flat seal which is obsolete now,and this seal often is the cause of leaks
i'm in the process of making seals for the later ones but still awaiting the poly material
on one of mine i'm making an air cylinder for it from a 11/4" pcp cylinder i shortened and will be fitting a paintball reg to it
the twin cylinder adapters can also be bulkfilled if a new rear plug is made and i'm just converting one for a mate

I was going to message you hoping you had these flat seals. Like you said, they are obsolete!

The as392 is well made, only plastic on it is the butt plate, so it's a worthy platform to convert. Looking forward to seeing what you have done.

thats the early o ring type i have poly rings for that but if fitting an adapter permently i'd use a flat seal as well as they could be retro fitted to the early ones

There were two seals inside, the flat washer you see in the pic and an oring that sat in a groove which disintergrated.
