    Colt 1861 Navy

Just back from the range after shooting the above revolver. I surprised myself with the level of accuracy that it had straight out of the box. Reloading was not to bad other than trying to get the size 10 caps on, 15gn of Pyrodex. It shoots about spot on at 15-20yd slightly left of center. I'm going to have a few more outings to try and confirm exactly where it is shooting and maintain grouping.
What is the main distance for competition shooting and what group size would you expect?
