    restriction on muzzeloader pistols

    is there restrictions on calibre size on muzzeloader pistol

    depends on if your club range can handle them, but not normally restricted.

    just i saw this ,the bit under UK LEGAL "LONG BARRELLED" PISTOLS, REVOLVERS & MUZZLE LOADING PISTOLS on one the the photos sayes up to .45

    no they got it wrong theres nothing to stop you for instance having a .50 cal

    Nope, you can get a le Mat if you want, 9 shot .44 with a central 20ga barrel (.645")

    thought they must be wrong,as i ve put in for couple of bp guns an nothing was mentioned

    Many older style flintlocks are of .60-.65cal.

    hell yeah,
    but i ve already put in my list and the biggest was .50 cal in pistol, just waiting for the cert now

    Phone up your firearms office and explane you thought the biggest caliber pistol you could have was .50, so that's what you put down for, then ask for up to .70 cal, it's worth a try!

    You know if you haven't put in for your ticket yet, just put muzzle loading pistols, do not put caliber, then you should be able to get what you want
