See if anyone has a PCP for sale in the RMTC that takes your fancy - that way you get to try it first against all the other types in your own club to see if you like it enough to buy it.
All PCP pistols will out-shoot the shooter comfortably enough, so try as many as possible - then look for a good deal on the type that you prefer.
There are always plenty of nice PCP pistols for sale, so if you are in no rush you will find what you are looking for once you have decided on the type you like the best.
Rossendale Target Shooting Club. Every Tuesday and Thursday evening 7 - 10pm.
Sound advice Bob.
Try before you buy is the best bet.

STEYR SEE HERE http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....stol-.177-mint I used this for Pistol HFT but fancy a change and now looking for a single shot I'm thinking of getting a Brocock aimx and getting it customize ie larger air cylinder and longer barrel.
Good idea Bob.
Now I am getting to know people, I am getting to try out various guns.
With a possible outlay of up to £1000 it's certainly important to try quite a few.
Kind regards,
Phil
