    open sights

    Hi,
I am looking for some advice please I have a crosman ratblaster type pistol which I bought from here a while back I have fitted a bsa silence wich obscures the fron sight.(silencer fitted as not to annoy the neighbours).
I have tried with a red dot type sight but cannot get any real accuracy I thik may be due to parralax error.
Do any of you pistol sages have any soulutions eg after market retro fit open sights?
I have considered a pistol scope but wonder if i will have the same problems as with the red dot.
    Your comments are geaty appreciated
    Regards
    Rob

I bought a front sight pin from Gmac that screws into the barrel band, this allows me to use a silencer and open sights at the same time. Great combo for the garden.
    Good deals with these members

Try a few shots without the silencer. The pellets might be clipping it on the way out.
Red dots are parallax free because they reflect the cross-hair back at you.
