    Windy old day at tondu.

No problems under the covered Zero range as shooting position is nioce and sheltered and even grouping was no problem to 40m, bit trickier at 50 m but good practise in that and astnading.
Could not do the main goal of today and chrono test a charge on the S200 as Chrono battery was flat, again! Will have to keep an eye on that.

    Still good to be out.

Road is as before, fine if you pick your lines, you just need a bit more practise lol

Spoke to digger owner today and as soon as i can arrange the driver, digger is coming in to grade the road.

Top day at club today with a good sprinkling of varied members, despite the distracction of an early Rugby Game!

Just like to say a welcome to new members Ian and Carl, yet more spring gun owners joining.

Have to say I even enjoyed shooting that howatzer 97, least out to 50 yards! Lighten that trigger though!

    Sunda 17th Comp @ tondu

    Both courses are out.

30 shot Main is using some Gp lanes and some new, good balance of long, average and short full kills with a small helping of minis. 4 kneelers + 2 standers.
If the forcast strong wind is indeed a bit savage Sunday Morning, then some targets will be braught in but the course has a gimmie 1 in evey 5 targets as is so most should score well?

    EASY FT

30 shot course out via 9 lanes, mix of kills from 15ml (x1) 25ml (x3) and then some 40 with most 45ml. Ranges not too far so should be hits for most, hope to see a few having a go at it. Ideal First Ft course and one where Spring guns could easily outscore Pcp.

    Extreme side shoot

Using above Easy course, 3 points for standing, 2 for kneling and 1 for sitting. multi entry

hope to see some of you there Sunday, suggest an early 9am start before the sun comes round, top tip of the day!

Booking in open 8 am onwards

Top day at tondu with only downside another low Wafta turnout!

Weather was about right though, nice cloud cover, slight breeze early on then a good dollop of wind later (Thats when Little Jack and I shot so thats my excuse lol)

Only one whistle and I think that due to someone mistaking an easy 27yard target (full kill) Re-set cord for the start of a tug of war Match. No names

Taken on baord old Man Doz'es comments about a stretched out course, it was yes for 30 shots but we restricted the main to 30 due to the 30 shot Easy Ft course / side shoot.
Least the Extreme side shoot was popular, be great to see more clubs put on Vermin / extreme side shoots?

Ft practise course is back out.

20 targets, re-setters so shot twice for a 40 shot course.

Black plate = sitting shots, of which there are 12 good targets, some high up banks, most flat!
White Plates = Kneeling, 5 targets of varying distance and differculty.
Yellow plates = Standing, 3 targets at varying distances and angles

Hope to start putting the Easy Ft course out Saturday so there is a 20 shot easy course as well to practise on.
