I hope to shoot 10 meter rifle a little more often over the winter as a change from the 10 metre pistol shooting , and would like to buy a rifle stand so I am not holding the weight of the rifle for any longer than necessary ( getting older and weaker each year).

They are quite expensive to buy in the UK, so I would like some advice from regular 10 meter rifle shooters about which one works the best for them.

I fancied a blue MEC one - just because I liked the colour and I know the make, but it has been suggested that the TEC-HRO may be better and is about the same price.

What I really want the most from my rifle stand ( I think) is stability as I would hate to spend all that cash to find I had a flimsy or wobbly stand to balance my match rifle on - I want it to be solid and safe - and possibly blue!

Any advice from those with experience would be very helpful.
