high all I wonder if you can tell me what its worth, its a Webley hurricane in excellent condition the white writing is all still there, but it also comes with a shoulder stock, this is a wooden one' I know there is a metal one but not seen a wooden stock, i was thinking someone have made it themselves,
I will try and get some photos up as soon as possible.
also is there a serial number on it and if so where.
    cheers john..

    Hello John,

Nice, boxed examples of the Hurricane can be quite easily sourced from around the £160 mark. As you rightly say, the shoulder stock is not correct and may put some potential buyers off. If it also comes with the original plastic grips, I would estimate £100-£120 would be about right for a private sale. Although these pistols are often advertised at higher prices by dealers and internet sites etc, for a realistic private sale, a lower price must be expected..

    Hope this helps.

    Regards

    Brian

JMHO, £80 or so, there's lots of them out there and boxed/complete one's always turn up sooner or later at a reasonable price.

Dating wise, the barrel extension and fore-end script can help in this respect, but I'm not aware of serial numbers being used on these items over the production period.

Regarding pricing advice for selling, listen to "definite offers", anything else might be offered as a means to "boosting the market" for others wanting to sell similar in the near future.

I would say around the £100.00 mark.

    Kindest regards

Just managed to secure £70 for mine. Had it up before for a higher price and it didn't move.
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.
