    Hatsan mod25 query

Ive just got the Hatsan mod25 back from my son ( been on loan but not getting used). I find its got a very hard trigger pull, but if a good release is achieved, its quite good. There's a hole under trigger guard but don't know if its for adjusting trigger pull, or there for dismantling reasons. Can anyone help with this?

It may have some effect but if, in practice, all you can do is unscrew it I don't think you'll get the improvement you're looking for.

This is actually from my Webley Typhoon - that is essentially the same gun isn't it - and assembled outside the trigger mechanism housing you can see the screw in question and how it bears on the action:

Possibly the critical area to lubricate (or maybe even polish slightly?) is this point:

General dismantling is achieved by the two screws either side at the front, and one at the very rear underneath.

    Hope this helps,

    Iain

Thanks for that Ian. Great photos. Haven't thought of dismantling it yet, but if I do the pics will help. Looks like the screw will take about three turns, so might try it now I know whats going on there. The Hatsan and typhoon are very similar aren't they.
