Hi,
I've got two of these, one i bought when they first came out and cycles well with the gammo lead balls, the other just won't get on with them. I found the last batch of copperheads i got were very poor quality and have now got some umarex bb's which are much better quality. The main problem with bb's is they do bounch back, glasses are a must.

Lead balls are always less likely to give ricochet problems however.......
The Gamo lead balls do not fit and the Tanfoglios all chamber a BB when cycling. I've not tried lead in any of my Tanfoglios but I would think that the action cycling may cause the lead balls to deform slightly, it might cause issues with cycling or shooting.

I don't know whether it would work with this model, but the only problem I had with lead balls in my old Makarov was that the magazine follower was deforming them. To solve it I loaded a steel BB first, then filled the rest with lead. If it is the action deforming them, then it will have to be steel BB's and glasses! I've always used Copperhead, which were fine, but haven't used them in a long time. I actually found cheap SMK BB's to be very good.
Thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated.

H & N copper coated lead ball work well.
However, as they are heavier, the POA drops by around 3" at 6 yards.
It's easy to compensate though.
Kind regards,
Phil
