Hi I bought the above today.
I was a bit worried on its reputation on the previous model as to it jamming on light loads & short cartridges.
From what I'd read about the latest 2012 edition and what it says on the blurb in the shop, it's supposed to cycle 2.5 to 3 inch cartridges and 24g to 56g loads.
Anyway , I tried a box of 24g fibre fiochi trap ones (67mm) on a sporting layout at my local club and didn't experience a single jam.
I did have some 28g lyvale express hv's 70mm in case I needed to bed the action but they weren't needed.
I used them up anyway and was pleasantly surprised how little kick there was.
On the whole, this package seems good value for £465, you get 5 extended chokes, shims, stock spacers, fibre optic sights and a 3 year warranty.
hi ive got one i paid £200 for camo 30 barrels i think for the money new you carnt go wrong you either hate them or love them i love it my mate just bought a brand new one he loves it extened chockes no key needed he got the camo one but 28 barrels 3 inch magnum he loves his gun as well i would recomened these to any one i use my for pigeon shooting and wildfowling my knock about gun
im looking at getting one of these '12 versions and havent read anything bad yet.....
If we weren't supposed to eat animals they wouldn't be made out of meat.....
Hi I have had they same gun and had nothing but problems with it I hade the 5 shot version tried it with all sorts of cartridges no look so got rid of it
No problem with mine.. I do know some of the shorter cartridges can cause problems though!!
i have one so far not had any problems with it. they seem to be hit or miss. lots of gooduns and lots of bad uns
i also have a hatsan escort 3'' had no problems with mine very good value for money but like all semi autos you have to keep them clean
I've been looking at these too!
Have been told to go for the 2nd generation ones though.... Good advice?

i have a 12g and a 20g they work fine
the only time my 20g played up was when
i used a box of hushpower 24g it would not load at all
but was only on clays
i did buy a escort 20g off pigeon watch
it was a old model with no spacers in the stock it jammed every 4 or 5 shots
so i did a px for a new one
iv got a escort 12g 3" magnum its been fantastic just dont like 65mm cartrages but then its no different to my mates benelli ... that dont like them either! as long as i use nothing smaller than 67mm its ok
