Gauging Interest - Custom made sidewheel / sidearm for MTC Mamba

I have just purchased a MTC Mamba scope and was disappointed to find no-one selling an aftermarket larger sidewheel.

After speaking to "DaveC" about a sidewheel / sidearm he manufactured, he was happy to supply me information and drawings to help me produce a small batch of between 10 - 20 units.

They will be machined from a solid block of 6082 aluminium and supplied unfinished or anodised black. There will be no range markings as everyone has there own preference.

I have attached a picture and also my recommendations to slightly improve on his design.

Prices would be approx: Unfinished aluminium @ £27 / Black anodised £32

Just wondered who would be interested in purchasing some of these before I actually invest in getting a batch machined ?

    Regards Mark

    Very smart

Why limit to just the Mamba ? This would be great on any of the MTC (PA) scopes.
Would be perfect for the Genesis

    Hi Gary

Would you be interested in buying some of these to sell direct.

Obviously the more I make, the cheaper these will be.

    Regards Mark

Fantastic stuff, I will be very happy to see these in production.

    Hi Dave

I have costed these at about £20 each for a batch of 10 so I need to sell at least 7 before it's economical to machine them.

If I can get enough interest and make 20, the selling price would go down to approx £22 and £27 for anodised black.

    Regards Mark

    Sidewheel

Looks good. But why limit yourself to MTC I would like one for my Big Nikko just to be different.

I wish all side parallax wheels were the same size but unfortunately they are not.

I can tweak dimensions and make them fit a certain scope, but I still have the same predicament where I would need to sell 7 out of 10 made to recoup my costs.
