I think you maybe right smallman28 ,well no,I know your right.I do feel a little hard done by.But I got my gun quickly by the sounds of it so that makes me feel just a tiny little bit better

LOL eyebull, the next time I am in there I will ask if he can order me a phased plasma rifle ,see what he says to me lol ,that is going to be so funny.I wonder what he is going to say

my wife is having ago at me though tonight about the guns ,because it's near xmas ,I told her not to worry I will still buy her a new toy for xmas so she can play with it in bedroom,I made a promiss to her I would .I do not know why though, she is still on my case ,plus I told her that one of the guns can be an early xmas present from her.I don't know, these girls are funny old things you know.

    I do love it

These are my best cards after zero in the gun,I shot it all day & use about 100 cards & about 400 pellets.God my hands hurt a bit now

I shot in sitting down with my arms resting on my knees holding the gun with both hands everytime.

Not all my cards was as good as these ones but these 6 was my best for today.I am very happy with the gun & i am pleased that I brought it.Already I can hit my tin cans easy with it,very very easy.

Also the gun was shot on full power everytime as i did not like it on 1/2 power

    Hi PJHIZZLE ,

I wish my wife was into shooting too, that must be way .My wife don't even care at all about shooting & fishing, but I wish she was because then we could spend more time together doing somthing intresting. She only likes shopping & I hate going to shops with her because she takes forever to choose things & looks at every item in the shop over and over again .

No I have not joined a shooting club,I am not even sure where one is close to me ?,plus I am not sure if I am even good enough.can anyone just join a club,or do you need to prove yourself first or anything like that ?

I have got to say I think this HW45 is much much easyer to shoot then my webley tempest was,I would say about 90% easyer for me to shoot it & hit thing I want to hit.

Hope it's not raining tomorrow,If it's not I'm going shooting again all day up my mates farm with him.

Please god don't let it rain tomorrow.

Ok I have just had a little fiddle with the gun and adjusted the trigger to how I like it & wow it's even better to shoot now.

I set it up to have a shorter trigger pull & set it to a bit softer trigger pull too ,right after doing this I shot at 4 more paper targets & this is what I got.

This time I took all the shots standing up & holding gun with both hands farly lightly.

I am loving it. I kiss the gun everytime I put it back in the box & I cannot seem to keep the box shut.

At the moment I do have lots of smoke coming from the gun everytime I shoot it & it smells like burning, smells lovely.

BTW I only shot at these 4 targets this time.

I thought I would show you my 3 boys air pistols.

One of the crosman 1377c is fitted with a steel breech + extended prob & a Guntuff 2.5x32 scope,The other 1377 will be getting a steel breech too very soon.

The 3rd gun is a CO2 powered Daisy 15XT powerline that fires 4.5mm steel BB & is fitted with a Walther NightForce lazer, spot light combo.

The CO2 gun is ok but has a very hard trigger pull but is very powerful i think for a BB gun.The crosman 1377c is a nice gun on it's own but is better when fitted with the steel breech kit & scope.

I can out shoot all of them with my new to me HW45 black star though, but my sons are better on there guns than me by a mile because they shoot them often & have had them for sometime now.

    Cun club

    Hi Leo

I had a look for airgun clubs near you, sadly there doesn't seem to be many I guess it depends on how far you're willing to travel (I drive about 40 mins to Bisley). Check Out http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?hl=...&t=h&z=6#bmb=1

It shows the majority of airgun clubs in Britain, see if there is one near to you. You don't usually need to be of any particular shooting standard to join but there is usually a membership fee. I have learned a lot from people at my club and I get to try some excellent rifles/pistols both new and vintage. Most air gunners are happy to offer advice on gun equipment and shooting techniques.

I hear that Petes Airgun Farm is pretty decent and not a million miles from your location, google it and check out his website. I believe you need to have some kind of liability insurance for that one though.

    The gun looks stunning mate
you can get a stock for these you know,
    making them a carbine,
with a red dot on top they are fun,
I did exactly that to a webley nemesis.

Hi kevmar ,that gives me some thing to think about. The only problem I have now is I'm out of cash for toys for myself.Maybe after we get xmas out of the way I can go mad again & treat myself.I just spent a bomb on 3 more HW45 black stars for my 3 sons xmas presents.

At the moment my kids have crosman 1377 & today when shooting I lets them each have a few ago's on my HW45 ,after I asked them what do they like better, there guns or mine, they said mine bless them so that is going to be a xmas treat for them from me & the wife.I cannot wait to see there little faces on xmas day .

do anyone know what is a very good case for storing HW45 ?,I would like hard outside cases with soft padded insides just big enough for the gun itself & a tin of pellets ? ,for around the £25-£35 mark, cheaper would be even better but they need to be high quality, something that looks great & will not break within a week.

    Thanks in advance
