    shoot needed

    I have recently moved to Oakham Rutland and wondered if anyone knew of land in my area were i could obtain a shoot for air rifle.

    The reason for your response is that you've hit a nerve. We had a spate of ignorant idiots on here a while back, appearing and basically demanding shoots ...... which are damned hard to get and guarded jealously by their owners.

    Do a search on land, shooting rights, paying for the above etc.

    Your question is as popular as asking which is the best calibre, best gun, best cammo...and so forth.

    What those nasty people are saying is that EVERYBODY has trouble getting land. If you want it go out and knock doors, send letters and do the footwork.
    We get so many people begging shoots on here that don't even join the community it's a joke.

    At least you contributed a bit before chancing it...

    At least you have been told in a friendly sort of way unlike some

    Now, whats the best cammo pattern and should I consider hunting with .177 or is it just for big girlies in pink sox

    no idea it was like that, i won't have a problem as oakham is in the middle of hunting shooting and fishing land, i will do the foot work its just i hoped i might meet people as i don't know anyone localy yet and shooting with somone else has its advantages
