postal winter pistol comp

Any one interested in a winter pistol comp by email.
6 yard would probably suit most indoor shooters.
Using a 10 shot Target I have available as a download pdf
Outward gauging ie hitting the lower score line lower score counts.
Dec through till end of march.
Any missed weeks can be shot at any time
Any pistol one or two handed grip, Not rested, No Lasers,

First week in December start,email scores in by 9th please. Download the target ( 10 bull) and the (15 bull) from the website. Last week in the month an extra card (15 bull) to be shot.

We already have just such a postal series for air pistols at 6 yards based on the popular Muscle Power League and it is looking like a really good competition - see the thread on BBS.

Everyone is welcome to join, and we will be running a summer and a winter series every year.

This is a fun competition - it can be shot from home or anywhere that 6 yards can be found, and as the BBS thread explains - the targets are self scored and we have set up a dedicated email address to send the score to and for all matters related to the competition - 6ympl@classicapa.com

......we even have a PayPal link to make it easy to pay the entry fee and to buy any spare targets if you do not have your own supply.

We will also be adding a version of the Carbon Classic League as a 6 yard postal series too for all those that prefer to shoot CO2 pistols and would like to enjoy some home shooting - but in a national postal series.

The competition is organised by RMTC who have earned some good support for the 10 meter MPL and 10 meter CCL leagues for air pistol shooters over the last two years (see the threads relating to them) so the experience gained so far can be relied upon to give a good competition that will be well run and well organised.

I have kept the early (pre-landrover) results for this. Seems a shame to have put in the effort for it just to lapse. Is anyone else interested in trying to get a result for 2012/13? Perhaps a 'shoot off' could be arranged to replace any lost results.
