Hello all,

I'm Andy from Barnoldswick. Been a member on some other forums for about 6 months but thought I'd join up here to vary the information/opinions I'm getting!

I currently have an SMK XS78 CO2 Rifle and Crosman 2240 Pistol. Possibly looking to expand on this as and when funds become available!

I'm originally from over the border in Yorkshire so not a true lancastrian!

I shoot at a club in Skipton as well as it was recommended to me by some friends but I hear there is one in Burnley that I might investigate.

Where about in Burnley is the club? I don't know it too well but know most of the major places. I'd be coming in from padiham side. Probably straight from work.

I am also a member at Blackburn Outdoor Airgun Club.


It is a fair distance to travel to BOAC but the range is open 7 days per week.
I find this arrangement to be ideal as I can't visit at weekends or in the evenings due to work and family commitments.

I used to shoot up on the moors near Skipton at Blubberhouses, now around colne and also Blackburn, lots of info here, so enjoy yourself.

Isn't it more like a nightmare????

I have read about Blackburn outdoor as I like the idea of a bit of outdoor shooting and they looked to have quite a few fun shoots throughout the year but its possibly a bit far for me to travel on a regular basis and they have also closed membership until next year.

I'll probably drop you a PM in the new year Rob and arrange to come down to Burnley one evening. Get xmas out of the way first though!

I organise the fun shoots at Blackburn Outdoor, we have one coming up next Sunday ( 9th ). PM me for details of membership or why not come along for a look, Decent BBQ and Banter guaranteed at every fun shoot !
Not as far as you think along that M65 you know ! ( 20 mins or there about )
