Me and my mate Chemo- Paul James Cancer research fundraiser

Hi all,

I have read Paul James thread named 'me and my mate Chemo' This has inspired me to raise some money for cancer research. My mother suffered from cancer many years ago and it is only down to research into cancer treatments that she survived and is still around now too. The research is so important so that people like Paul can get the necessary treatment and get better again!!

I propose to do a 10k run to raise money for people in the same position as Paul. I plan to do this early next year in Dorset and would love if anyone else from airgunbbs would join me. (date and location tbc but will be done by the 31st January 2013)

(Currently a sweaty mess after 5km so some work to be done by me!)

I have spoken to Paul about starting this thread and he has given me the thumbs up.

Lets all dig deep and give some money to a very important charity. No donation too small.

I was just going to do bank account details for donations and keep them in a separate account and then forward the donation but in this day and age I thought people may not trust this. I have therefore set up the justgiving page.

If anyone would prefer to do it this way I can supply details.

I am going to run this until January 31st 2013 and then it will be a closed page/thread and all monies sent to the charity.
