Hi chaps this video was made by a fellow club member whilst we were shooting in Wales.
I'm the last to shoot, my son before me.
It is one of four videos about Ben's Martini.

Great video, where can I get one from?
Nice rifle, used to shoot at sealand quite a lot not been there for a few years still cold and windy i see . Fired a few rounds with a mates 45o/577 martini henry a while ago but ay llansylin in the summer ended up with the grass burnig in frount of us which we had to stamp out nice video cheers
My friend had a Martini Henry which I used to shoot quite a lot.
I only shot it prone once as the recoil was unpleasent, most of the time I shot it kneeling.
On the back of the receiver on the right hand side was a checkered oval depression. The fist time I shot the rifle I wondered what it was for. After the recoil of the rifle had pushed my right thumb painfully into my nose I realised it was a place to put your thumb so you didn't hurt yourself while shooting.
I didn't find the trigger too bad but then again I wasn't comparing it to a .22lr target rifle.
I preferred my Snider as it didn't kick nearly as much and made big holes in the target.
