Brought back memories.
I first joined the Sheffield Muzzle Loaders in 1961. You could pick up a decent single flintlock shotgun for a fiver. Three band Enfields were £3 - £5 (for a good un) Began to concentrate more on breech loaders after a few years but still have fond memories. I really enjoyed last Sunday when a friend talked me into missing the usual clay shoot and joining the Sheffield Muzzle loaders at their clay shoot. These guys made us very welcome and all the memories came flooding back. I managed to get some video for the Home Page of my website: http://www.see-the-lead.com/index.html
It's ironic that I could be ending my shooting life with the same discipline that I enjoyed all those years ago.
