you will struggle getting a used one,the guy who does mine that cannot be mentioned uses a bench sourse machine Yet you decide to promote him anyways?
its a great machine but expensive,I think its just shy of £600 by the time you have added torches.
if you havea load of brass to do it will save you money in the long run,if you havnt just pay the small fee to have them done every 3 or 4 times fired.
Thats what I do so it saves me the price of new brass over time.

I have only ever seen two secondhand annealing machines for sale in the UK, one which I sold and the other which I bought.

wont a blow lamp do and a tray of water ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Yes, after a fashion. But it won't do them to anywhere near the same consistency that a machine will. For the best possible accuracy each case needs to be the same as all the other cases, or the same as is practical. Heating them up from one side only and guessing the amount of time required to reach exactly the same temperature every time is a bit hit and miss. A bit like just dumping your powder from a measure instead of weighing every charge. Good enough for some but not recommended if you hope to win a 1000yd F-class shoot.

I use a battery drill and a blow torch in a dimly lit room, although I never have more than 100 to do so it does not take that long.
With the brass clamped in a shell holder in the chuck.
With the case pointing up.
I rotate the brass slowly.
The neck and shoulders held just in front of the tip of the cone in the flame.
When the brass is just starting to glow, but never cherry red, I take it from the flame and stand it with the base in water (use decent gloves to remove the case from the holder).
I used to quench the case but after a fair bit of investigation it appeared that this might not be the best option.
Just my way of doing things.
after watching a video onling you could easily make your own, a little bit more manual operation but to save £££ it would be well worth it.
drill,
clamps,
a socket type adapter for brass to sit in
blow torch or 2
you can buy the teprature indicater
sorted
This seems to be a cost effective "half way house" between Screwdrive/blowlamp/guesswork and a full auto machine.

I need a new best friend in USA to send me one over.

Nothing, I brought them home under the sea so only paid for shipping to Georgia.
