hw97 or theoben

hi all stared to think about f/t after a long layoff have the chance of a theoben evolution or a hw97kt and would welcome any comments on these thanks

I'd pick the Evo, but thats me. FAR better balance than the HW, it doesnt twang, FAR better stock ergo's, thumbscoop etc, the HW's stocks are just too universal.
Only downside of the Theo's cán be, their varying quality, that is, finish and trigger.
The Evo trigger cán be as good as the HW's, my Evo's was. My Eli's isnt.
Same for finish: my Evo's was great, my Eli's is mediocre.
Dont pick a 7"barrelled Evo though,only the 10-er.
You have to like the direct shooting behaviour of a rammer though, also cause its lightweight.

Easy choice for me , without doubt the 97, easier to work on and less to go wrong, its a little heavy but then I am sure you will get used to that. As for twangy, just get a tune kit from SFS if you want to make it as smooth as silk. That's the good thing about a quality springer you can maintain it yourself easily.
