If your lead bullet is anything like the Lyman #311291 then these loads are from the Lyman 48th ed for Alliant powders:

    Unique
    Start 12.0 Vel 1508
    Max 16.5 Vel 1842
    Herco
    Start 12.5 Vel 1488
    Max 16 Vel 1697
    2400
    Start 18.5 Vel 1635
    Max 29.5 Vel 2296

    Hope this helps

Thanks mate just wondered how the 2400 meters? I only ask as RL19 claims to be excellent metering but the reality is different.

I haven't loaded cast lead bullets in bottleneck cases, but have a look at Lee "Modern Reloading" (second edition), it's full of data for lead bullets, with a specific section at the front for cast bullets used in the 308 & 30or6.
It's a good all-round book and well worth buying.
    Good luck
