reduced loads for 30-06

hi folks hope you all had a super xmas.
now then i got (for a change!!!) shooting related items for xmas. one of which is a 170grn .309 lead mold. now im looking to use this for my 30-06.

has anyone done this with the 06'?? if so any tips would be lovley

Have a hunt through this cast boolits forum ,They have a lot of experience with reduced loads in all calibres.

Dont no how light a load you need but trailboss will do very light loads, i am using it in my 45/70 Rossi

i did think about trail boss as its nice and bulky. but then there is also good old unique

You get a lot more shots from the trailboss, you start off at 12gr i get over 300 rounds
