What case lube do you use??

    Hi guys

As the title says what case lube do you use, when I bought my initial lee dies and press it came with the lee stuff but I didn't really like it so that's sat in my cupboard since then been using the rcbs liquid stuff but that's a touch sticky gets everywhere not good!!!

A mate of mine recommends lyman qwik case lube (spray) but I can't find anywhere local that sells it been told the rcbs spray is just as good but not sure and I've read on another post on here that you can use STP spray lube just roll your cases over a piece of moistened (with STP) on a flat sponge

    Suggestion and opionions please

    Regards

I use royal case and die lube. It's great smells so good I want to spread it on a piece of whole meal toast.
A tub will last for ages! I've had it over a year and only just dented it. A tiny amount on a finger does about 3 cases.

Hornady one shot, easy to spray, but waith all sprays it goes everywhere as we'll as the cases., so ave myself a fold out cardboard base & backstop (old next catalogue outer). Then when sprayed either a quick roll on the base or rub over with fingers. The only thing with the Hornady stuff is make sure it's DRY before you attempt to resize, else your case may get stuck. Only happened to me once, learnt my lesson...

For neck sizing I bought some imperial neck sizing powder in a small jar (filled with special beads & powder), shake jar, open and dip case neck, simple as that. The beads won't ever need replacing & the powder can be bought to top up, but RFD said it'll be years before I need to do that.

Lyman spray lube. Cases go in a plastic bag, five seconds of spray, 100 cases ready to be sized.

I use to use lee case lube equally as good, but messier

    Hi all

I use the PTFE spray from screw fix its about £3.50 for a massive tin and you can get 10 for about £30 quid I have never had any probs with it and many off my reloading buds have started to use the same stuff.

You have made the right choice - guarantee you will not switch to anything else once you use it. I never use tumblers or U/S and I find when using it to bump shoulders it also cleans the cases.
