Hi everyone, just after a little advice i'm making up some inert rounds of 7.62x39 Steel cases. I have a Leed Hand Press and RGB dies for the 7.62x39. Can anyone offer any tips as i have never done this calibre before.

I made up some from 303 fired berdan cases. Just leave the fired primers in place (then they look fired) neck size the brass and fit some fmj heads to the right depth. Some people drill very small holes in the side of the case - that makes it clear that they're dummy rounds.
I found the steel cases stick like a bitch in the 7.62x39 FL dies so I just neck size them in a .308 die with the decapper removed, done a few thousand that way.
Cheers, managed to make some up earlier.
