Airgun World - What was the First Edition?

Out of curiosity, what date was the first edition of Airgun World, and what was on the front cover?

    Kind regards,

    Phil

Interesting that collectors made it onto the first front cover back then. Nowadays the subject of collectables is largely drowned out by cheapo Chinese-made springers, thousand-pound puff guns that can take down 10 bunnies in 20 seconds, and all manner of plastic-stocked tat presented as essential kit for the "serious airgunner". Old fart, moi?

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.

What, do you think, would be a reasonable price for issue 1?

    Kind regards,

    Phil

Depends how badly you want one. Put a wanted add on here, and keep an eye on e-bay.

Mine had a phone number on it, in my mother's handwriting - that'll teach me to put something down near the telephone...
