I have been looking into regulating my Daystate X2. Has anyone regulated theres ? Or know anywhere that can fit the regulators.

    Kind Regards

Mine was regulated from the factory so it's worth asking if they will retro fit.

    X2

My X2 synthetic was unregulated when I bought it brand new in 2005 from the airgun centre.I was told at the time that Daystate would not retro fit a regulator. The stock has the space under the cylinder to accomadate it.I,d be interested if you have any success......

Try Dave Wellam of Airmasters88, he did a Daystate LR90 for me (my first FT rig back in 1990's)

Pretty much the same as an x2 only slimmer. Back then he also did the 'early' mk2 Huntsman.the reg fits inside the cylinder not under it!.

Nick Murphy might do Daystates? Could cost you around £250 to get it done, mind.

no problem i have made regulators for almost every daystate model from early brass guns to current ones what are you using the gun for ? is it target shooting i found the best regs are not the ones that fit into the cylinder unless you vent the piston of the reg to atmosphere that way you will not get a airlock in the reg piston

    x2 reg

Why not just sell it & get a regged model, should be cheaper & less hassle. I have the same action(regged) in my merlyn & the reg's never given me problems.

I have a Daystate X2 regulated in .22, very nice it is too. Only problem is, no matter which pellet I put through it, it only reaches 9.7ft lbs over the chrono. Is there an easy way to address this or does it need sending back to Daystate?

Sorry I havent responded sooner, I have had no access to the ineternet due to working away. The reason I wanted it regulated was due to not having the drop off. But after speaking to Daystate it wouldnt be worthwhile doing and would be cheaper and easier to invest in a new gun Many thanks for the responses
