    Cleaning camo

    Evening all
Went to the farm today and managed to get covered in mud and lay in cow dung. Whats the best way to clean my clothes. I got the jack pyke hunter trousers and jacket.

    Thanks

Hello friend...I would use this stuff http://www.bushwear.co.uk/nostyles.p...03&ClassID=236
as regular washing powders contains UV brighteners that will spook your quarry.

Give it a good soak in warm water to soften & losen the muck then in the machine WITHOUT detergent.

You have several choices depending on your paranoia.
    Soak in warm water.
Hand wash with plain soap flakes
    Machine(or hand) wash with Ecover

Or just leave it and smell like the environment, you could call it "Enviro Smell Cam"

I just wash my stuff on delicate's with a small amount of washing powder and cheaper fabric conditioner as usually it don't smell sweet much. In the 35 years of shooting my Mum washed my clothes in the washing machine the normal way (never had Camo as a kid) and when i left home the method above. Never had any complaints Lets face it camo isn't essential as in a lot of cases the bunny etc has seen you anyway but it is the used experience in your movements there on in that bags ya bunny
