Can't tell you what you'll get for that money, but I did have an XS20 he'd tuned and it was excellent.

    Contact Lyn directly .

He does a fantastic job .

I think he is linked to Steve Pope (?) and fits their kits for customers .

His work on the SMK range confuses some dyed in the wool HW fans , they cant believe the work he does .

You will be getting value for money from his kits .

I was recently lucky enough to have lyn lewington fit a v-glide kit to my hw98 and when i collected the rifle he showed me a smk xs19 that he had tuned with one of his kits,i was totally amazed,i cocked it using just one finger and it was very very nice to shoot, very low recoil and just as nice as any springer i have ever shot bar a hw80 with the reduced diameter piston v-glide jobby...

I maybe wrong but i think i remember reading in one of the mags that Lyn said v-mach helped him develope his own kits.

I've got an HW97k v-glided by Lyn and also a XS19, obviously the HW is head and shoulders above the SMK but the XS19 is a nice shooting, smooth rifle and I am very happy with it.

IIRC Lyn develops his own kits, he certainly knows Steve and I believe discusses his work with him, Lyn definitely knows what he is doing and is a nice chap to boot. You'd be better googling his telephone number and giving him a call.

hi £44 for a kit thats dirt cheap, id like to know wat you get for that. even if he buys the spring in and turns his own top hat / guide himself theres not much profit there for a man running his own company considering the time involved .one spring kit his much the same as the next spring kit from wot iv seen by all of them

I am a V-Mach approved tuner, i also supply my own tuning kit for SMK XS19,XS20,XS36/2 XS38 and XS208 models , i now sell these kits under the name ARC Tuning. These kits are not V-Mach kits, the XS 19 spring kit consists of a steel piston liner, a Titan spring with a spring guide and top hat and power adjustment washers. With the kit you get a small bar to tap out the pin holding the cylinder end and a tool to remove the standard spring guide. This kit is £44.00 i can also supply piston seals, barrel seals and small tubs of moly grease. My own .22 XS19 will fire a Air Arms Field pellet at 11.70 ft lbs and can be cocked with my little finger.
