This sunday will be a springer and pistol comp, 30 target course around our wood to Rochford agc rules

The pistol lane will be set and we have a well stocked plinking range and zero lane too.

Safety brief 10-15am
comp starts straight away

adult members------------£5
junior members------------£3

adult non-members--------£7
junior non-members-------£4 (Remember, this includes your days shoot,food and drinks except cans which are 50p)



All the usual FREE FOOD and hot drinks, cans are 50p.

God i love my Springer so much.

Hope the weather is kind to us and Les no snow mate as I really feel the cold, My Mediterranean blood cant take too much cold lol.

Have to dig out the thermal long johns, hand warmer etc.Used to have a pair of heated hand warmers that I used to plug in when I was riding the motorbike. Bu#####d if I can find them nowadays. Need a heated wi###y warmer as well. Trouble is the battery needs a separate trolley to power it all up.

Looking forward to it apart from the cold.

Looks like we are due for a touch of snow or should I say SNOW.
Got the thermals out and warming up ready.

Supposed to be playing golf Saturday. May have to give that a miss though. Mind you the last forecast of 6 - 10 cms of snow wasn't enough to cover the grass. Lasted all of 6 hrs as well.

Be interesting with the ballistics of a pellet through a snow flake?

It's all right for you, I've got to get up Hambro Hill or Crown Hill. Hopefully it won't be too bad. Have to wait and see. The other way is to go down the arterial and up past the Cock Inn.

Will have to make sure I miss all the little monkeys running about holding their naughty bits and screaming at the tops of their voices.
