    Thumbs up Ding dong...

    A reminder that the second and final leg of the "Bell Target World Championship 2013" will be held on Tuesday 26th 7.30pm onwards.

    Redhill Revolvers are based at The Blue Bell Inn (LE7 7NW), here's the club's excellent website with further links etc. Looks posh...

    Hope the winter weather doesn't hamper the nights competition

    Hopefully the roads will be clear for safe travel come Tuesday night.

    Thumbs up

    A big "thank you" to Steve and all the Redhill Revolvers for hosting Melbourne Marksmen tonight.

    Another good night's competition, and particularly fine half time spread.

    I'll leave it to others to announce the results...

    Big THANK YOU to Steve Prime and all the guyns n gals (you know who you are) at Redhill for hosting a wonderful,if a bit chilly, evening of Bell Target fun at their venue in Rothley Leicestershire.

    A very good evening of competetive fun,tightly contested competition,good food,great beer,good banter and humour - Best way to spend any evening shooting.

    Now to the results;

    After 12 competitors from each team had completed 2 rounds of 6 shots each (top 5 scoring shots to count in each round),Melbourne who had been trailing ALL evening just squeeked into a single point lead aided by a fantastic last round by John Watson scoring 24 out of a possible 25.After the 4 lowest scores from each side had been eliminated the Final Result of the 2nd leg was

    A DRAW

    HOWEVER, Melbourne were carrying a 13 point lead from the first leg,so narrowly pipped Redhill Revolvers and carried away the Trophy.

    Well Done to all the Melbourne Marksman team from both Legs of the competition on a fine result.

    INTER CLUB CHAMPIONS 2013 .That'll be MELBOURNE MARKSMEN then

    Already looking forward to the Next Years event.

    Thanks again Steve for hosting a great evening's sport.
