Nossir - by the time I got interested in another BP pistol, I was over my limit in this county. A friend of mine has the Kuechreuter pistol, and there are a few of the LePage style too in our club, so I have managed to shoot them over the years. Our local dealer has a few in stock, too.

I had one for several years but sold it to buy another Ruger. Still miss it. I used 16 gens swiss in mine and it was far more accurate than i will ever be.
Mate Ady has just bought one and hes well chuffed with it. More accurate than my revolvers but i just prefer six shooters. Cleaning was a doodle. Remove
the barrel and drop in hot soapy water. Rod out and spray with oil. Remove and clean nipple every other clean and hey ho, good as new.! Tim

personally i generally use spray 3 in 1 or WD40 which although not an oil as such does work ok.
Others im sure will have their favorits too.
Really are a nice pistol to use. Only problem i had was it used to bash my middle finger on the
trigger guard if i didnt hold it clear when firing. I stuck a bit of foam padding on and that sorted
it.

I use either Ballistol or Legia spray. As noted, WD40 is not a lubricant, although it seems to be one at first - the letters WD stand for 'water displacement/disperserant'. It WILL gum up over time, and need a thorough clean before you shoot again. It is extremely good at bunging up the flash holes in both flint and percussion guns.
