3rd most important?

Hi Airgunners,

Since I acquired my Maglite AA torch mount, suddenly I am all into torch lights , did a search and found that quite a few airgunners here knows a great deals about torches and lights output etc etc , there is even a BBS for torches too , am I right in saying torches are the 3rd most popular thing for airgunners and shooters alike ? 1st - Scope, 2nd - Knife, 3rd - Torches?

Not much into torches myself but i'd put them in this order.
1. Rifle
2. Scope
3. Pellets
4. Making it all do what i want it to do.

Whats a maglite like for lamping then?I use a Deben tracer compact which is ok but there are plenty better out there.I use NV more than that though.

At present, my Maglite is only good for my garden , lamping at target , 10 meters , batteries run out quick !
I have been looking at proper lamping gear, just don't fancy all the wire stuff ! NV is just too expensive for my standard
